I don't find it to be a Sceptile pun since seed can be associated with just about any grass type and also because seed is not in Sceptile.

Grovyle is pretty badass, yes.

It also evolves into Sceptile. Also there's some yellow orb thingies on Sceptile's back that could be seeds.
