Goddamn, some of these aberrant eidolons are just...UGH.

Aberrant Leviathan, for example, has a pretty nasty one that can shave thousands off your HP bar and hits just about the whole arena.

My only male trance is Squall and I don't like his Trance Burst too much....thus I am Lightning atm :V

I like how I look too much to bother with the character Trances. I'm currently using Bahamut. His trance boosts are practical (+20 to Strength, Magic, Defense, Mag Def, and Luck) and Megaflare hits like a nuke.

Speaking of, I officially have every trance available.

I'm planning on switching over to Dragoon soon, so I'm working on making a new spear (or spears).  The most powerful one I've unlocked, I've got all the materials for, except one more Omnipotent Lamina, dropped by none other than...Aberrant Bahamut.  Yeah.  

So I pick up the subquest for killing him a few times, and then kill him a few times, and the Lamina WILL.  NOT.  DROP.  Not from killing him, not from the quest rewards, not from the subquest reward...  And I know one of those SHOULD give me it, 'cause I've already gotten one this way.  ARGH.

EDIT: I've beaten him 13 times and I still don't have a second Lamina. Whoever thought it was a good idea to give him access to not one, but two attacks that are practically instant-death, and damaging footsteps needs to be fired.

Woo, got a Thief's Anklet with +9 Absorb HP and Absorb AP. I never need to worry about my AP ever again.

Nah, managed to beat him, just, ugh, who's idea was it to have him revive at full HP if you don't hit him hard enough?

Well, he's completely vulnerable while he's charging it, so.

But if you ever do need help with anything (except maybe the aptitude exams), just ask. I'd be more than happy to assist.

I can also help kill stuff, or help get killed by stuff so you can kill stuff easier

Though my times are more limited than Charles's.

The heck, that sounds ridiculous, does she still do the thing where if you don't move when she goes underground you get gobbled up?
