Also, as a heads-up for anyone playing GO: you can get free coins (the FTP currency) by checking in by tapping the shield icon at the top right corner of the shop screen. You'll get more coins and stardust (for powering up Pokémon) the more Pokémon you have stationed at the Gym; if I had to guess, you'd get 50 Stardust and 10 coins for each Pokémon you have at a Gym (since that was the amount I got for having one at a Gym).

But you have to have at least one Pokémon in the gym, correct? It won't let me collect because I don't have any Pokémon in a gym. >_>

You do have to have at least one Pokémon in a Gym in order to collect the bonus for having a Pokémon in a Gym.

Yes ;_; there's hardly any pokestops near me so I have to travel a bit before coming to a bunch. And then most of the gyms are also a little distance, and have Uber powerful pokemon/I can't assign a pokemon. This is my second time running out of pokeballs.

Yo, I've seen this posted on Tumblr a few times, and I just wanna make sure you guys stay safe so here goes:

Criminals have been using lures in Pokémon Go to draw people to isolated areas where they can be jumped easily. If there's a PokéSpot with a lure in it in an isolated or shifty-looking area, do not go there, find another PokéSpot somewhere more populated.

Oh, so that's how they do it! I heard of it before, but I was confused as to how they did it.

Now I know, and knowing is half the battle. All the Lures I've seen are in pretty open areas, so I think I'm safe. :U
