Re: Poké Park [v5]
They don't ship them out at the beginning of the month.
The bird legends came in on the 4th, for example.
Plus, even if you did, you could still get a Mew code from someone else who got a Mew from GameStop.

I HAZ MEW!!!
I'm gonna soft reset for the best nature, but I'm not sure what that is for a Mew... Guessing something focusing on special attack or speed, right?

Re: Poké Park [v5]
Since Mew has a flat 100 in every stat and can learn every TM and HM, it really is up to you. It's a completely blank slate.

Re: Poké Park [v5]
CoroCoro has leaked! We're starting to get non-starters and non-legendaries now.
- spoilers:
- We're getting a Normal-type koala called Nekkoala, whose Ability prevents any status ailment except sleep.
Also, the dog we briefly saw in the CoroCoro trailer is a Rock-type called Iwanko.
The leak also says that the starters and Iwanko all "hide a secret," which sounds kinda weird. Why is Iwanko included and not Nekkoala?

Re: Poké Park [v5]
It all depends on how good the Pokémon itself is.
I mean, Shedinja's just a fucking Ninjask with 1 HP, so he's getting nowhere, fast.
I saw some speculation that they'll be the regions Com Mons, so...that's definitely not gonna win it a place in OU. :U

Re: Poké Park [v5]
More information from CoroCoro, this time about the legendaries.
- spoilers:
- Solgaleo and Lunala both have a special form (called a "phase") that they take on when using their signature attacks. It's said they're at full power when in their phases. Apparently a phase is mechanically different from a form somehow.
Solgaleo has a "Rising Phase" when using Sunsteel Strike, while Lunala has a "Full Moon Phase" when using Moongeist Beam.
Magearna also has a new ability called "Rising Heart," which, as far as I can tell, acts like a special-oriented Moxie.
It's also been confirmed that Zygarde's alternate forms (or at least the 10% and Complete versions) will be playable in Sun and Moon.
EDIT: More info on Zygarde. When in 10% form, its ability Swarm Change will, at low health, fully restore HP and transform Zygarde into Complete form.
EDIT2: Looking at the footage, its HP isn't fully restored: Its base HP rises, but the damage stayed.

Re: Poké Park [v5]
Speaking of leaks! Well, not leaks, persay, but new information.
So, you all remember the different Zygarde forms, right? Cool dog thing, freaking mecha Captain Planet... actually, those are the only two forms. But that doesn't matter! They have both been revealed to be in Sun and Moon.
Zygs-10 has access to the moves Thousand Waves and Thousand Arrows, two moves discovered in X and Y's coding, but never actually used. Thousand Waves is a 90 Power, 100% Accuracy move that prevents the target from fleeing battle or switching out (unless, of course, you're a Ghost type). Thousand Arrows has the same stats, but is unique in that it can hit ungrounded Pokémon and forces them to be grounded until they tag out.
Zygs-100 is a mid-battle form change of Zygs-10. It's like Zen Mode, but not nearly as useless - when Zygs-10 hits low health, he'll transform into Zygs-100, restoring health, and presumably increasing its stats. And swapping out one of its moves, probably, for Core Punisher, which causes it to laser beam the letter Z into the area around the opponent. Any further effects are unknown, but that's awesome enough, no?
semi-edit: goddammit Cap why won't you let me have my fun :I
