Is the game going to allow me to have two Yveltals? I've never owned two legendaries before so I don't know if it's possible.

Well, either way, yes, you can have two legends. You can have a whole pc full of legends if you want.

Well

a) the question was already answered, why should I answer it and

b) "How would they even prevent you from getting two of a Pokémon" implies that you can, in fact, have two of a legendary.
