It's five minutes long and, for maximum hype effect, you don't announce two of your next biggest releases in the same series at the same time.

Well, I don't know about the logic in that. Nintendo Directs announce/inform on ~7-8 big projects in a span of 40-45 minutes, and those create massive hype.
