So, I heard that a store called Hot Topic has RWBY stuff now. My aunt lives near one, so I asked if she could look into it and see if they had any shirts for sale. I sent her a link showing off what they had online. She's never heard of RWBY before, so her response?

My aunt wrote:Hmmm... Their logo looks a little weird! Is she stabbing someone?!

....yeah, my aunt is a bit weird... She's very....outspoken against anything that's violent, sexual, has any language in it (literally, if someone says damn or something similar around her, she'll scream "STOP CURSING" at you...)....anything she feels is inappropriate....which is a lot of stuff....

...no idea how I was able to deal with her for so long...she'd probably flip out if she saw how I was on here... Annoyed

Anyway, my response to her so that she wouldn't think I was....endangering my soul....or something like that:

Okay, a bit of backstory on the series: The main character seen in the logo on the shirt is Ruby Rose. She's is holding her weapon, Crescent Rose, a scythe that's also a gun. She uses that weapon against the Creatures of Grimm, monsters that roam the world of Remnant (world the series is based in). That's her duty as a huntress (well, she's training to be one anyway), along with her teammates and close friends, Weiss (white haired girl), Blake (dark haired girl), and her sister, Yang (blonde haired girl). Hence the name RWBY, for her team (Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang). There are other Huntsmen (male) and Huntresses (female) who also fight the creatures of Grimm.

Sound like a good response?

Explaining it so it sounds the weapons aren't used against people sounds like a safe bet, yeah.

RWBY Chibi is apparently real. And I thought it was an April Fools joke.

Also, the volume 3 soundtrack is now available! Sadly, it's only on iTunes at the moment. *goes looking for it on Youtube*

And this is why you never announce things on April Fools day! Unless you make it clear that it isn't a joke, much to the ire of SMT and FE fans everywhere, but that's not related.

That said...they really need to work on their chibi models. Specifically, the faces. Really.

I've seen it as a few recommended things for me. I haven't watched any of it, because I agree with jokool that it's clearly fanmade. I don't know if it's any good or not. I may try it at somepoint, but I don't know.
