I only just recently witnessed the awesome of Mega Slowbro. I had never caught him and had honestly forgotten about him, but r hen I did so in the mobile version, and daaang. I made sure to get him in the 3DS version, and that helped me defeat Timburr, who I had been stuck on.
I think it was just yesterday or the day before that I remembered to get Ampheros. That helped me a lot as well!

You have to get a lot of Slowbro on the board before activating it, or else it won't work as well.
