Let's try to get this before Sun and Moon come out!

Valk insists I say Diglett or Dugtrio, despite my argument on typing and the whole cliff ordeal.

I think I've narrowed it down to Gen V after looking through the Pokédex.

Given the criteria you listed I concur that Diglett and Dugtrio are indeed foolhardy guesses. :V

Guys, I am quite stumped. Please help.

My only guess in Vanillite, and I only think it won't fall when pushed off a cliff because it seems to float anyway. :V

How many stages of evolution does it's line have (1 for no evolution)? (not counting mega)

EDIT: plus, Jokool, the pokemon doesn't have any other forms (which I also read as Mega Evolution, but it wasn't specified so I probably shouldn't throw it out the window)

Does not look like a Geodude.
Is not Vanillite or Luvdisc.
Is from an odd-numbered generation.

It's a three-stage evolution line, meaning it has a base, first evolution, and final evolution. And as Nanna said, I'm counting Megas as an alternate form.

Thanks for this, never actually checked that.

We can cross out Electric. The only Odd Numbered Gen Electric pokemon with 3 evolutions would be the Pikachu line (which is a quadruped and has hands that have held things) and the Tynamo line, which all have Levitate.

Though I'm not sure if the Pokemon has ever 'flown' before, is it Serperior?
