If each piece of art is going to be submitted through multiple categories then it sounds a little beyond what a mere poll will be able to handle. So who would be tasked with counting the votes?

I was thinking straw poll, but now I think that it should be like this:

1) First day of month the theme and category are revealed (ex. Funny winter pic, cool pokemon, cute couples)

2) Throughout the month people put their submissions in the art thread

3) Second to last day of the month a blog post is made with a poll and the submissions

4) People vote

5) Final day winner is revealed in time for Cap's score card

I've figured out how to add BBCode tags! :D

It just requires a little bit of Javascript that parses BBCode into HTML. Problem is, I need to fiddle around with Javascript, which I'm unfamiliar with, to add anything. But it's a pretty simple language to learn for little things like this, and the first thing I did was figure out how to make a type of spoiler tag that blacks out text so you can read it by highlighting it! Much less clunky than having a big box around the text you want to hide.

Do you guys want this code on the Pit Stop? Any ideas for other new BBCode tags we need?

That's really cool! That way it is much easier to talk around spoilers. For instance, there are many times where I want to say something about something, but one word or phrase that is rather minor would make it a spoiler, so I have to spoiler the entire thing.

As for who decides the theme, I was thinking of being the one to decide it for the first few months then have a raffle

I'm having trouble doing click to reveal though, since it deactivates as soon as you let go of the mouse button. If I figure out how to do it I'll do it immediately. :V

Also, let's just make sure that very little of the burden for this art contest falls on me because I'm unreliable enough with the monthly competitions already
