It happens to me occasionally, but usually when I open a new window of the Pit stop before reading all the posts.

I think it's more triggered by a set of conditions as I've experienced this issue as well, but not very often. Nanna's observation seems to be a point in the right direction.

In any event, I can't do anything as it sounds like it's a Forumotion coding problem and I can't overhaul the backend of the website.

It's a feature. If you log out or are inactive for a time, all the forums are marked as read. It's really annoying and I don't know if we can change it.

So while I've been updating the trope list, I've run into a little snag. There's lots of references to nicknames and stuff (such as Bunny being Nanna), which flows well when reading but could be confusing.

So suggestion: How about we start a nickname list?

No, this is completely unrelated. The nickname thing is probably gonna get its own thread or something, so that wouldn't be an issue. The problem here is the entire post is too long. :B

Does having the names be displayed as [spoiler=Name] rather than Name [line break][spoiler] help with character count? Or would we avoid that because it looks awful?

Any tweaks that we make to the format will be minor at best. Just adding a sentence would add more characters than doing that would take away. It's really just much easier to transfer it into three different posts.
