No, that's the summer solstice.

Quick guide:
Summer solstice—longest day
Autumn equinox—equal hours of day and night, night getting longer
Winter solstice—shortest day
Spring equinox—equal hours of day and night, day getting longer

On the "forum rearrangement to get subforums on the top-level while keeping archives below the top-level without it looking too ugly" front: After much fiddling about, I've come to the conclusion that this is really the only way to get something resembling the layout we need.

I'll withhold my opinion on it to see what you guys think first.

Google does, clearly.

IIRC it's more of a tracking device of when it appeared in literature and the like, which is why we have records that far back.
