I'm so sick of Earthbound Beginnings (Mother 1) being thought of as basically confirmation that Mother 3's going to come over here.

News flash, people: there was already an official Mother 1 translation. It existed as far back as whenever they were going to release it on the NES, and the only reason why they didn't is because the NES was getting old! It was completed! They had to do absolutely no work for it! Sure, there's the Mother 3 fan translation, but I don't find it very likely that they'd accept that for dignity's sake. (Also they did monkey around with the code a bit, adding a "Hard Mode".) They'd have to put in the work to actually translate it.

It's entirely possible, of course, that they will release Mother 3. But stop treating it as confirmed, for Giygas's sake!

So the truck has no AC. This is more or less to be expected of a 21 year old truck. What sucks is that the part that's bad is the high side fitting. This kind of part is typically just $5. However Ford apparently did not make it so that the part could be replaced, instead I have to replace like a third of the AC system with a part that costs $100. And anytime you replace such a major component, you should really buy a new AC Accumulator, which for this truck costs another $50.

So do I really want to spend another $150 to fix this or do I want go without AC...

I have until Friday after next to decide...

People that are pretentious in general are nasty, but people that are pretenious and rude to people I care about take the cake in terms of asshole-yness.

I would speak more on why I find arrogance to be absolutley revolting, but I'll save my energy for more positive things in the meantime.
