Re: The Galactic Arcade [v2]
finally got to play more xenoblade :D
got to the city of Alacarth and basically ran around the city looking for quests despite being told some people are apparently in danger :T
funny thing is I found the key items for the search quests before finding the actual quests :T
I ended my play session out of the city ready to ignore story progression in order to swim a ton and do the challenge quests :D

Alacarth...?
Do you mean Alcamoth? Because I don't remember there being a placed called Alacarth.
And I'm waiting for you to get to the best part of the game. Joltik won't let me make my joke about it ;__;

Yeah, it's the March Madness Sale. Perhaps I'll buy something, like a route. Likely Bristol to Exeter.

Re: The Galactic Arcade [v2]
So this morning I did two runs on the Western Lines of Scotland. Both with little engines in comparison with what I often drive.
The first was a 2-6-0 Tender Locomotive built by British Rail as part of its standard series. The locomotive has a power classification of 2MT, basically little branch line trains only (a few coaches and a dozen freight cars). And it even boasts a cut down tender for tender first running to that effect. However this scenario had me running this locomotive with much larger trains, and I'm now very impressed by this little locomotive as it managed 55 mph with the train pictured below and later pulled an even larger and heavier train to Dumfries, though it did struggle a bit.
The other locomotive is the durable workhorse of a tank engine that is known as LMS Jinty. This run was much more typical, take a little freight out to Dunragit, take a backhaul back to Stranraer.
And for the rest the day I'm going to be playing on my two new routes! I bought Bristol to Exeter, and the Riviera Line, which runs from Exeter to Torbay. These two routes should give me several hours of fun out of my Castles alone as both routes are part of the old GWR network and even to this day see Castles working excursion trains. I also got the BR Class 101, one of the first generation diesel multiple units, so I can download and play more scenarios as this is often used as an AI train.

The demo was fun. Though I'm not all into shooters, it would be an interesting buy.
