I've got a problem I need to bitch about [v3]

My nose is acting like shit...

Recently I've been having problems with my laptop shutting itself off abruptly at around 20% battery. This wouldn't be such a problem if I didn't habitually leave documents and such open and unsaved for long periods of time. No warning is given for this, it doesn't even show the "shutting down" screen or anything, it just goes black.

Probably need to recalibrate it's battery meter. Just turn it on and leave it on until the battery dies. Make sure that you disable some of the safety features in place such as going to sleep at low battery.

What's worse, I can think of what I want to do after the beginning. The beginning is literally the most problematic problem.

Problem is, most of the time it actually does get past 20% and warns me at 14% and 11% like it's supposed to.
