I've got a problem I need to bitch about V2.0

I'm being lazy, so I can't find the thread, but I might be able to help.

I went most of the morning thinking it was Thursday and upon finding out it's Friday it screwed up my time management... I've got a fairly big research paper I need to finish and there's still a huge amount of work left on that, plus a pile of codingbat work.

I HATE RIDDLES!!!!

I've only been able to solve one so far....

Fortunately, I've found 6 others by pure luck searching all over the place.

Unfortunately, I am absolutely stuck now....

How many riddles are there?

14...... So I've only gotten halfway though the competition...

Fortunately, I have until Christmas Eve to get my answer in.

but seriously, focus on the paper and knock it out, then the code thingy, after that you can put on some headphones and watch anime to forget about your brothers

I can hear my mum talking on the phone and it sounds like my brother got a concussion snowboarding again.

Hope he's alright...wait again?!

We're not sure yet if it's an actual concussion like he had last time, but it's at least enough that mum's waking dad up and getting my brother to the ER.

I couldn't tell how serious it was just by mum's phone conversation, but she didn't seem too freaked out.

Anyway, TS, I'm not too good at giving advice, so the best I can give is to just grit your teeth and knock out as much as you can now. Either promise yourself a treat at the end of it to get you motivated, or don't if that'll just distract you.

Well I just finished the draft to the point its, well a complete rough draft. I don't have tomorrow though as I volunteered ahead of time (before I got this blasted paper) to shovel snow in my community this winter. Forecast for tomorrow isn't looking good, meaning I won't be able to do much.
