Unfortunately 3 are now dead after a shooting at a mall in Maryland. One of the bodies was found near a supply of ammo, suggesting he was the shooter.

Right now the causalities are 5 injured, 3 dead. I fear one of the dead is a friend one of one my friends and I know my friend was deeply concerned about what was going on, having grown up in the area.

The weapon this time was a shotgun not an assault rifle.

So...I guess the guy wasn't the shooter?

The guy found near the shotgun is believed to be the shooter, but it has not been confirmed yet.

So the word on the street is that this year's Olympic games aren't going to be good. The security aside, apparently only 5 out of the 9 hotels for visitors have been build and the hotels as a whole are lacking in various basic features including running water, clear running water, bed sheets, towels, toilets able to ingest toilet paper, and curtains. Don't forget about the dangerous stray dog problem, there are packs of dogs attacking people.

Also 2 arenas still haven't been built and some of the ones that have are rumored to be unsafe. Oh and the snow machines can't be used right now because the mountains are being showered in rain.

So the Canadian Ice Road Trucker Hugh "Polar Bear" Roland was seriously injured (permanent injuries to his back and skull, supposedly paralyzed from the waist down) in accident on the Manitoba winter roads. Hugh was riding along with one of the Ice Road Truckers producers, who was supposedly driving recklessly, and the pickup wrecked.

Hugh's wife has filed a lawsuit against the show and rumor has it that the show has been cancelled.

So have you guys been following what's going on in Ukraine?

While my mom and I never liked him (we thought he was an asshole, and we instead adored Alex Debogorski to pieces), that's terrible to learn. I hope he's alright.

As for the Ukraine thing, I'm keeping my nose out of that.

I haven't heard anything about Hugh or the show since I posted that.

I decided to look it up and I was linked to a TMZ article (remind me to never go back there again, they're a bunch of freaking misogynistic bullies). I'm starting to think Hugh's possibly lying. I hope they throw his fat ass off the show. He's not funny in the slightest.

Yay another Alex fan! :D He actually visited my city once 'cause he was selling his autobiography or something. I couldn't go see him because it had snowed really bad before that and we didn't have a car.

I wouldn't trust a source like TMZ since they do tweak the truth, usually for laughs. And your wording confuses me as I though Hugh was in intensive care and didn't know what happened and his wife filed the lawsuit.

I'll look into it more.

One of the things I like about the show is the rivalry between Hugh and Alex, they contrast each other nicely and I feel that some of the better moments in the series are their comments about each other. But to each their own.

This is interesting, all of the results I've seen so far cite TMZ as the source. Further more, this isn't mentioned on the fan site....

I wonder if I can view the status of Canadian civil suits.
