APRIL FOOLS 2013: Welcome to the new forums!

I’m sure you’re all very confused right now, but please bear with me. It’s with great sadness that I announce the closure of Bulbagarden forums in forty-eight hours due to a violation of our license with vBulletin (the nature of which I am not allowed to disclose at this point in time). Happily however, I, being a distant relative of his and a close correspondent, have contacted Caprizant and he has given Bulbagarden permission to make this place our new home, and granted me exclusive access to his account—as such, he will no longer be around here anymore.

In exactly one week we will begin clearing the place out so that we can revive the forum that we all know and love in its new home. In the meantime, you are all expected to be completely compliant with this and all current mods will have their permissions stripped away. We are extremely sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.

Now, as a parting note, please do not mention this anywhere outside of this site—vBulletin is on my back about this license issue and I’ve been told specifically that we are not allowed to relocate to any other site. This must be kept top-secret. Any user who is caught going against this will immediately be banned and any new account with the same IP address will be under strict surveillance. Welcome to the dictatorship, motherfuckers.

Um, excuse me? I heard nothing of this. I came on here to find my account hacked, and Bulbagarden moving in without my notice? wtf?

I would like an explanation. This isn't fucking right.
