Re: Cybertron
Sounds far better than AoE Leader Prime.

Re: Cybertron
So, by some miracle, my uncle found Age of Extinction on Youtube.
The whole movie.
So yeah, that's how I spent my afternoon.
Oh, almost forgot: Was there any extra scenes during or after the credits? The video cut off before the credits rolled...
The whole movie.

- Thoughts on the movie (spoiler warning for those who haven't see it yet):
- I liked Mark Wahlberg's character (Cade Yeager). I'd say he was much better than Shia LaBeouf in the past 3 movies. Thought he was funny, and I liked how he never gave up on his ideas (even though they were putting him and his daughter in debt). Overall, really thought it was a good role and I wouldn't mind seeing him again in another movie.
Other characters I liked were Li Bingbing as Su Yueming (she had a few moments that made me laugh, and also one badass scene), and Kelsey Grammer as Harold Attinger (who's character I actually hated, but I was surprised how good a villain Kelsey made and felt it was a good performance).
Nicola Peltz's character (Cade's daughter Tessa) and Jack Reynor's character (Tessa's boyfriend Shane)...... Didn't really like them.
I hated Tessa's whiny attitude, and hated the stereotypical teenage girl thing that we've seen waaaaaay too often in these films, and I felt it was somewhat more exaggerated this time around....
Shane was.... I'm just going to say a douchebag.....and a big idiot.... But I will admit that the guy was a fairly good driver....
The transformers:
Heartbroken to see Ratchet and Leadfoot get killed.... Also hate how they were basically just melted down into spare parts for the new "Transformers".
Favorite new Autobot has to be Hound! Very funny, good with weapons, and keeps fighting until there's no more ammo!
I thought Drift was okay, but I wasn't too crazy about Crosshairs... Too rebellious....
The Dinobots were awesome! End of story.
Galvatron....I feel like he's more of a cheap clone of Megatron than Megatron reborn....
Optimus and Bee were awesome as usual.
As for the movie itself, I enjoyed it. Not sure where I'd rank it among the other 3 though.
I will say that I don't like how the series is going with most of the Transformers (Autobot and Decepticon) being dead. I mean, if they keep this up, there won't be any more Transformers to be in these movies....

Re: Cybertron
I forgot to mention the day I picked up my new headphones, I peeked into the Transformers section at the Target I went to and I'm very surprised that there was two (maybe it was three) racks of Deluxe Armada Starscream. The store is fairly new, the whole shopping plaza only got developed a couple years ago so I'm guessing those have been hanging there since the store opened.

Looks rather amazingly articulated for a combiner.

Re: Cybertron
Charles, this is mostly out of curiosity after watching a little bit over my dad's shoulder, but what's the latest Transformers series?

Re: Cybertron
The latest...cartoon series? That'd be Robots in Disguise.
Unrelated, but I'm gonna make my first 3rd-party purchase in the next few months. Terminus Hexatron Continuum is looking mighty tasty.

Re: Cybertron
Derp I suppose I should have mentioned what aspect of the franchise. At least a number of the questions I had from watching what appeared to be the last few minutes of the first episode were answered by searching. Thanks for the info!
Also I must say Optimus Prime (WFC) sure dies a lot, even for an Optimus Prime.

Impressive. I'm now finding Obsidian to be an interesting character...

Re: Cybertron
Obsidian has a really unique design. It's a shame HasTak doesn't really use him anymore. *would love to write something involving Obsidian*
