Well then, if June is much too late for Spring. I doubt one will occur in May for spacing purposes, so if it's not this month there won't be one.

Re: General Chat! [v10]
*is watching a documentary I found by chance about the immediate aftermath of first atomic bomb*
This tremendous destructive power... Everyone shows the "tame" aerial photos of the city. Down on the ground the scene is much more horrific. Just the light from the bomb melted steel and granite, not the pressure wave, just radiant heat. 3 miles of leveled buildings, broken windows and doors up to 12 miles away.
The bomb set numerous fires around the city, so many it was uncountable. Within six hours, several square miles were burnt into nothing as the fires merged into a fire storm. There were tornadoes of flame from the massive drafts of air fueling the fire. 69% of the city was estimated to be destroyed by the bomb and fire.
While radiation effects (namely high fever, diarrhea, and bleeding gums) undoubtedly set in, some of the truly horrific injuries were flash burns. If you were lucky, the pattern of your clothes was etched onto your body as thick clothing blocked the light and exposed flesh was heavily burned, but not deeply. One graphic image I've seen in this documentary was about the second worst case scenario, where your flesh was vaporized off bone. Just spines and skulls were all that were recognizable. Worse case scenario was of course complete vaporization, some people were only known to have stood where they were because their bodies protected the wall behind from being scorched. In essence, their shadows were burned into the wall.
And both bombs together are only a minuscule fraction of a modern bomb. 30 combined kilotons of TNT vs the 15,000 kilotons of most powerful US bomb ever detonated, back in 1954. I cannot even start to comprehend the effects of a modern "multi-head" device.
