Does anyone else like learning languages?


Trying to learn Russian actually. It's easier than I thought. My goal is to become fluent by sometime next June.

It was my weakest point in school. I got a C in American Sign Language. All that is turning normal English sentences into choppy caveman, turning actual words into signs, and making facial expressions to go with it. Where I was struggled was the facial stuff, which in American sign languages is a lot of the "grammar" that makes this an actual language. Memorizing the signs was also an issue.

Oh and trying to come up with like a couple minutes of one-sided conversation every month. I'm usually silent if I've got nothing I want to say or talk about, trying to force me to talk usually doesn't go well.

I find languages really fun and easy! The hardest part about school for me is staying focused. I was diagnosed with autism a while back, so I guess it makes sense. It's just hard to get good grades in class when you think about literally everything else during a lecture.

Me: I want to evolve my Ekans and maybe get a Croagunk on my poison type monorun
Teacher: Have a test
Me: I wonder why I am so bad at math
