Okay, it looks like they're wearing pasties or something like that. It's more easily visible on #10. Why they are mostly naked, I don't know. For #10 it could be a reference to her speed, the ME262 was the first jet fighter and saw service towards the end of World War II. The Mustang... well it's also known for being pretty fast, though I don't know if it was one of the fastest of the war. It did have great range though, not as heavy as some other planes.
