Something major just happened and my family has no idea what. I was sitting at one end of our unit and only heard the sound of something hitting the ground. My mom is on the other end of the unit and said she felt a powerful vibration that upset the coupons she was cutting out and thought the sound was either something falling or a circuit breaker exploding.

Our breakers look okay and I'm going outside now to check the building.

Can't have been, I didn't feel a thing. We had an earthquake a couple years ago and I was one of the first to identify it as an earthquake and not the detonation of explosives at a nearby quarry.
