I'd hope so considering that the Legion skills drain the whole party's (everyone but the Highlander's?) HP :I

It's only 20% for Thrust and 40% for Burst iirc.  That can be healed back up easily.

I rely on Spear Assist and Delayed/Cross Charge though, so I wouldn't know from experience.

I just want to clarify that I'm talking about

spoiler?:
because there may or may not be a Ginu boss after it.

Managed to get 'im down to critical health, if nothing else. I proceeded to die against the third wave of Satellites, because Flavio couldn't Flank Shot them fast enough and Volt Wall only protects against one attack, not against any of the follow ups.

Oh. Yeah, there's a boss after that.

He's weak to Volt, if you haven't figured that out.

I had figured it out, yeah. He's also weak to poison (for all that helps...).

...I mined a ton of Garnets, and by god, I am going to get something out of them.

...Well, I chose Picnic after being too frustrated with the Overlord.

It definitely lives up to its name.

Some Steven Universe fangirls?

Oh, if you haven't gotten Sky Metal Knight's conditional, GET IT. You need to beat it in 5 turns and it unlocks a pretty sweet sword.

It's too bad you can't have a separate gathering party in Story.

Funny, I can beat the Overlord on Standard fairly easily but I've had to resort to Picnic to beat the Juggernaut for all but my most recent run.

Given how quickly I beat the Overlord, I think I can do that pretty comfortably in Picnic Mode.

Six turns. It took me six turns to beat the everliving crap out of the Overlord('s second form).

For that, I didn't even Force Boost! (Though Chloe did use boosted!Ailment Slash, which sliced through the poisoned boss's HP like butter.)

Not even a Fafnir transformation? :O

But yeah, Picnic really lives up to its name this time around, which I wasn't a fan of. Ironically, that's helped me to get better at EO by playing Standard instead. So...yay? Yay?

Nope. (...That's entirely because I blew it on the first form, though.)

The first form is easy enough that you don't need Force Boosts. You just go all out with standard skills, since he's only got 8000 HP.

Conclusion: Picnic mode is easy enough that you don't need to Force Boost at all vs. the Overlord, if no one else. (Admittedly, though, I had the levels that a Standard mode party probably would have.)
