Re: The Dancing Peacock
Assuming you meant what I think you meant, each class has four people to choose from, two male and two female. Later games also include an alternate palette for each portrait. In Untold 2 and the Story mode of the first Untold, you can also reclass people, though they'll keep their original stats and stat growths.Truthseeker4449 wrote:Pretty sure that I already asked such a question, but are members of a class have difference appearances.

Re: The Dancing Peacock
The only exception is the Highlander class, which has a male and female portrait and a recolor for each.
Also the Highlander in Untold 1 and Fafnir in Untold 2, where there's a single portrait for each class due to them being exclusive to the Story Mode's main character.

What is the other color scheme for the female Highlander?

If you've looked on Pixiv, then...I dunno what to tell ya. It's next to impossible to find Etrian Odyssey fanart that isn't of the stupid blonde Protector girl.jokool wrote:Fining fanart for either one is hard though...

Re: The Dancing Peacock
I stumbled across the Storm Emperor via quest and managed to escape with a Volt Torrent Grimoire before it escaped.
Of course, it costs 80 freaking TP, so its usefulness is...questionable.

I actually beat the thing before it escaped the first time. Still had to fight it again in a later quest though.Lief Katano wrote:I stumbled across the Storm Emperor via quest and managed to escape with a Volt Torrent Grimoire before it escaped.

As for Volt Torrent, it's pretty good if you have TP to burn. I use it on my Compression Alchemist and it deals a shitload of damage.

Re: The Dancing Peacock
I do have Eternal Exodus from the Ur-Child/Devil and it's 120 TP. Its damage multiplier is okay but it only hits a given target up to two times so...not so good.
Also, good lordy the Great Dragon is a pain to fight.

Re: The Dancing Peacock
Nice.
Highlander starts out as a huge TP guzzler, but it does get much better.
Of note, the Legion skills are stronger than their Draining counterparts. Plus, they also restore TP to their line if you have Allied Bonds.
