Dear Anonymous

Dunno if I'm allowed to post threads.  Oh well, might as well give it a go, and if I get banned, then that's that.  

So, this is a thread I've seen/been involved in on many other forums, such as PokeCommunity and EverGrandeCity.  It's a vent thread, like the "I've got a problem to bitch about" or whatever thread, but instead of bitching about things, you're bitching about anonymous people (@mods: that being said, if you feel this is too similar to the before-mentioned thread, feel free to lock this sucker up with a pelvic thrusting lock).  As to safely avoid user-user drama, I'd suggest not posting anything directed specifically towards any member of the Pit Stop.  I'll start, and have fun.

It's really annoying how you give us all these assignments to do, but not any rubrics.  It's like throwing us in a pool to teach us how to swim.

Everyone can post threads :D I wouldn't ban for someone making a thread, even if was against the rules unless you did it repeatedly. Unless I found an option that simply prevented you from making threads.


Just a warning to all of you who wish to use this thread, complaining about another what appears to be another user (it doesn't not have to be a Pit Stop member, don't bring in intersite problems) will make your post subject to deletion without warning at admin discretion.  Multiple offenses, particularly in a row, may or may not see you leave for a few days.

I don't know if I insulted anyone today in band by playing the arpeggios with my scales test. I'm sorry if I came of as a showoff, and I admit I kinda was. I recognized both before, during, and after I did so that I was coming off as superior to others. I already could play the scales at a fast pace, and I made it more "fancy" while doing so, and in hindsight I shouldn't have done so. I just really like playing the arpeggios with my scales, and in other schools I've been to, it was sometimes required. If I insulted anyone, I am sorry. It's been on my mind ever since I did it. I don't want to be a showoff. Honestly, I'm not even very good at what I do, but I don't want to say that either because I already am better than some of you, and I don't want to say that because it sounds so high and mighty.

One, I really hope my comments actually posted and that you see them soon.
Two, I hope you start feeling better. I really want to be there for you, but at the same time I don't really reach out to people on dA much, and I am not sure if it would be useful to you or not, since I don't really understand the situation much. I'm not sure if I should assume you have depression, but I am under the impression you do/have said you have it before? I hope I don't come off as claiming you are depressed when you actually aren't, you know? Again, I don't fully understand, and I don't want to speak for another anonymous I know very well based off of personal observations/assumptions. I need to stop assuming with the topic of depression in general, eh? I sometimes think I am knowledgeable in the subject because it is close to my heart, but since I don't have depression/don't think I do or will, I just don't really know, huh? Please don't give up on art and writing. I think you have a gift, even if it is not developed too much quite yet, and I think you love what you do.

Again with the assuming. Regardless, don't quit, and don't feel like drawing is not worth it or that you should just stop because you are not as good as seemingly hundreds of others. It takes time, and you have been using your time in the fullest, based off the incredible improvement you've had the past year. Please don't push your  passion and possibly your friends away.

Dear Engineers at Ford Motor Company who designed my truck.

You guys are fucking assholes for not picking one type of thing over the other. You used both standard and metric bolts throughout the truck and now I've just found out that you used different flarings on opposite ends of the same fucking line. Fuck you.

Dear certain people on the internet.

Shut the fuck up if you think reading a manual makes you such an expert that you mislead people (like me) into believing their system is designed differently than what it actually is.

*now has to go out to a store and buy a wrench to safely take off a different brake line than what I was planning to remove.
