Good grief, even when I isolated your post by entering the post editor it still took over a minute to load all your images and put them in my cache.

So I propose a new set of rules more or less as a trial thing to see if they help with the loading speed of this thread.

1) No more than one large gif (I define a large gif as significantly larger than Greece's signature) per post.
2) No more than two large gifs per page.
3) No more than two small gifs per post.
4) No more than 5 images per post.
5) If the previous person posted 4 or 5 images, you may not post more than 3 images.

Those are some overly-rigid rules. I doubt anyone will be able to remember them.

It's because of the wonderful thing called cache. The thread loads just fine after you first see the images.

Good point. How about just 5 images, 1 GIF, and avoid "flooding" the thread with 5 image posts?

I'm in favor of more lax guidelines. Maybe fifteen images at most as long as they're small. And a general reminder to pay attention to the size (in Kb, not pixels) of the images.

why don't we use Joey as a guinea pig on the next new page? Have someone post an image and see if his browser freaks out since his is the most sensitive. We keep slowly posting more and bigger images until his browser can't handle it and bam, limit found
