So I just did a scenario with a locomotive named after one of the stations on the route.

I half thought this was a joke as it's a strange name and the station doesn't seem very significant given its appearance on the route.

Turns out this locomotive really does exist.

Or maybe did exist would be more accurate as this was the locomotive in 2011. Looks to be ready for the scrap heap.

And just as I was about to fire off this post, I discovered this locomotive has actually been preserved by a private owner and is apparently under restoration.

This is the locomotive being taken away for restoration and sure looks like a major project...
