Are you sure? When I was first recommended for Computer Math by the teacher who taught it, I didn't know what it was about. "Computer Math" doesn't exactly scream "Computer Programming", but that's what it is in Loudoun County. The highlight of that class is making your own game of Pong. AP Computer Science in third quarter or so will turn you loose to make your own game.

The closest class we have is computer science. And it's not a very good class. It's mainly about using strange programs. Not learning anything about computers.

Sounds like a programming class to me, or so the "strange" programs suggest to me. Who says that the class isn't very good?

technically it's at a "tech" school, meaning it's not the school itself, but a separate school where every main high school in the metro area meet up to do stuf relating to different careers. this can range from marine biology to car repair to architecture to culinary arts to the army.

I go to one of those. Getting ready to start my second year of Auto Servicing Technology.

We have something like that. But the only class they had that I was interested in was the animation class. But that's a two block class so i couldn't fit it into my schedule this year.

Two Block? Interesting. Over here such classes are mostly full day (slightly less because of transportation), Otherwise I haven't heard of a class at our school running the length of two blocks.

Though now that I think about it, the actual term is a two credit class.

yeah, I also wanted radio and tv broadacsting there, but they are also 2 bkocks each, so I couldn't yet.

Most of the cool classes are 2 blocks :C

I realized that it would be entirely possible for the Pit Stop to make a game: romch as the coder, Lux as the storyguy, and me as the artist. (Or someone else, maybe.)
