And my sea monster hunting is complete. Snagged a white pair of Sony MDR-ZX100 headphones along the way and they are nice and only cost me an arm about $20.

Back from Band Camp for the day, sweaty and with painful shoulders.

Could be worse, right?

The only worse things that I can think of are things not related to band camp.

I would call if worse if she tripped and fell. Perhaps even worse if rained earlier.

True--if we hadn't adjusted my harness, I would have bruised hip bones...or, at least, bruises worst than what they are from when the day it wasn't adjusted...and I could have had the bass drum, which would multiply my shoulder pain, I'm sure. And I could have passed out. :V

EDIT: or that, yeah. Falling would be...horrible...ew...broken drum AND ribs...

I've encountered more disturbing stuff than this.

Out of curiosity, what color is your uniform? My school's is white and light blue (officially Carolina Blue) with some dark blue and silver. Maybe a little black too.

Why would you want to know that now?

It helps me gauge her discomfort. I often go backpacking so to speak during the summer so I know how badly clothing and straps can irritate you.

I'm not sure, as this is a new school for me, but the school colors are Orange and Black.

Last year, the uniform was Purple Black, and Silver. Mostly Black.

Neither one sounds very comfortable in the hot sun...

Mostly purple... Thats the only color the mascot wears.
