And welcome officially zikeep! You'll fit in just fine...(I'm amazed almost at how I just slipped in randomly and I was accepted as if I was here all along... :) )

After watching Deadilest Catch for so long over the past month, I can comfortably say it's because your personality and style of writing meshed nicely with the "family" we have going on here, sort of like the crew of a boat. How well a crewmember works out on the crab boat, depends mostly on their personality. Some can walk in and become near instant friends with much of the crew while others are just another deckhand you won't become the best of friends with. Then of course you have those few who can't mesh and end up getting fired.

It's not more dangerous than a city. Apart from the couple of industrious areas like the airport (which also serves as a gas station for large spacecraft) and the harbor.
