Has any item been claimed as Crystal's idol yet? I think I'm going to make a picture of all the idols of every gen.
Gen I- Helix Fossil, S.S. Anne ticket, Pokeflute, Lift Key, Secret Key.
Gen II- ??
Gen III- ??
Gen IV- ??
Gen V- ??
Gen VI- ??

This is gonna be great.

I think they're trying to avoid forcing an "idol" and other such things. They want to make sure it's fresh each time.

Anyway, in light of that, I think we should change the title and some of the description to fit the new generation.

If there was an idol for each generation, there wouldn't most likely be one for IV+, as the interface for the battle bag is completely different from the interface from the overworld bag and doesn't include key items and the like.

Which means that combat will actually improve for DS games, most likely.

Why the difference in bags affects idols.

Well, all of the idols Bunny said were Key Items, which could be selected more then once and have no effect in battle and thus be chain spammed.

You can't select Key Items in Generation IV games.

Well when 10,000 monkeys are playing the same game surely one of them will come up with a new way of making idols.

And why not?

Because key items are also the items that make more sense to worship. The other ones are single-use or glass flutes that you can't really get.

I guess you could, in theory, go to the item bag and select the key items, but then you're more just being a dick then anything.

Are't they being dicks by messing with the key items in the first place?

In Gen I, all items are placed in the same bag slot, so...not as much, no.
