Nearly had a heart attack when I started the game up today, it turns out I fell asleep with the game on and it ran out of battery, so I quit without saving! Good thing is, I actually opened it up twice yesterday--once to do everything important, and second to be yelled at by Pippy for missing the appointment to go over her house.
Also, let me just mention now, since it's Weeding Day and everything and he's out in the Town Plaza... Leif is very creepy I try not to go into the gardening shop too much

So in recent Moondrop news, in the last few days I spent hours on the island paying off loans to Nook to get my house further to completion so I can finally clean out my inventory completely.
So far, I've built my minimalist guest room (just have the final expansion being done overnight and I need to get a white stereo to play K.K. Song on). I've also made myself an umbrella and decided not to use the "forest green" hair color ever again.
In the near future, I plan to:
Hopefully somewhere along the way Gracie will stop in town. I've been missing the final fashion check for months now. At some point I'd also really like to upload my town to the Dream Suite, I haven't actually done that yet. :B

In the near future, I plan to:
- Change my town tune and flag. The tune is currently a few notes from a Pikmin theme, which I really like, but I've been using it for so long and I want some change. The flag is kind of a lame green design thing that doesn't really mean anything.
- Add, expand, and furnish the basement, which will be my server room/office.
- Expand the music room, which is in the back.
- Rearrange the living room (main room), my bedroom (upstairs), and kitchen (room on the right). I'm thinking of cleaning up some space and coming up with some sort of a coordinated design with the first two rooms, which right now are just a hodgepodge of furniture I like. The kitchen is just lacking something.
- Do more public works projects. Right now I have my sights set on redoing the bridges. I'm not sure which design I'll go for yet on that front.
- Clean up my town, museum, and inventory of all unnecessary items. This means getting rid of stuff I'm not using that can be reordered from the catalogue.
- If they ask, I'll get Canberra and Sylvia to move out. I don't like making villagers move out, but I really don't like them and their placing is inconvenient. >_>

I had to change my ordinance to the Bell Boom Ordinance for a couple days to get things done quickly. I took big trips to the island and sold everything at Re-Tail; I got ~300,000 Bells per trip. I'll have to change it back today, flowers are wilting already
Also, I changed one bridge in my town to a wooden suspension bridge and added a brick bridge to get to the town square/Re-Tail faster. I changed the town flag to a Welcome to Night Vale flag, and the tune to a random one that I made up myself that I thought sounded pretty good. And after I'm done with my house, I'll be cleaning out my inventory and museum, then working on making the rest of my town look good.

My house is finished! Time to give you guys the full tour.

Here's the exterior! It's at the bottom edge of my town, on a cliff overlooking the sea. Can't remember the names of all the exterior renovations.- main room:

Not really much to note in here, just a mix of cool furniture that kinda goes together. I like the Merlion next to the table in the middle, provides a nice running water noise and looks good. The school desk has a stack of letters on it to make it look more authentic.
The giraffe ruler is not as useful when it's obscured by a staircase dresser.
Cacao tree I got on Valentine's Day from the in-game mother. Almost gave it to Shari, but I didn't since I knew it was rare and couldn't be reordered and mum gave it to me on Valentine's Day and I'm not like that even though Shari is awesome.
On the right of the main room, we have...- kitchen:

Here is the very yellow kitchen. Rich colors, calming music, the sound of an egg perpetually cooking.
Better view of the north wall, where most of the furniture is. The thing on the exotic end table is a winning ticket, and I believe it's from Easter. The phonograph on the far right is playing the music. Also, I find it funny the fridge is counted as a dresser.
Candle, espresso maker, chocolate cake from Isabelle, and coffee mug from Brewster. Salad bar is off screen to the right, but there's chocolate cake right there and it's distracting.
I kinda like this arrangement of gyroids, very even and fitting for the room.
And next on the left, we have...- minimalist guest room:

Simple room. All completely white. No extra fuss.
Currently using the K.K. Song music box as a stereo since I know it'll take awhile to get the white stereo. I actually prefer this, but it doesn't play upon entering the room or repeat on loop (though it does repeat a few times).

And now the back room.- music room:

Here's the music room! For those of you who don't know, the instruments play along to the music if you press A near them. In the middle we have the taiko drum, drum set, and djimbe drum.
Over here we have the upright piano and vibraphone. Had a harpsichord, but the weird shape just wouldn't fit anywhere.
And here is the pipe organ, turntable (which plays the music), metronome (which changes speed depending on the tempo of the song playing), and harp. There's also that painting and the exotic bureau, which I put there because it looks kinda like the metronome.
And here is the string section! Double bass, folk guitar, and electric guitar (with amp).
And now we move to the basement, which is the...- office/server room:

This is probably where I would spend most of my time if this were my actual house :B

Here's the servers! Don't ask me what they do. The answer is nothing. I have no email, files, website, etc. to host. I bet they don't even work and just flash lights in random order. But it looks official! And that's the important thing.
Whiteboard for planning, office locker, and the amazing machine. I'm certain a machine with that sort of name does many amazing things to justify its purchase.
See? Useful! ...Sort of.
This is my desk! Laptop, Newton's cradle (called the executive toy here), Welcome to Night Vale emblem, and suitcase for trips.
Also, this is not really important or impressive, but I designed the floor myself. :B
And now the final, upstairs room...- bedroom:

Like the main room, just a big collection of cool furniture that goes together. Haven't changed it very much in awhile. I never have the light on in here, because I usually come here at the end of my Animal Crossing stints and get in bed before saving and quitting.
Also, this is my favorite song in the game and one of the most soothing songs I've ever heard.
I keep all the Brewster gyroids in here. Accidentally sold one once, though. ;-;
Some Nintendo items scattered here and elsewhere in the room as well.
Triforce! It does the thing too. You can press A on it and it does the thing with the music and the joining together thing. Yeah, that thing.
Anyway, mannequin with the barista uniform on it (with a clover).
Boring news program. Also, I like how the couch is there to stop you from playing the Virtual Boy properly. Love the S.S. Dolphin as well.
I got the meteor from a villager for giving them an apple. Fair trade.
And that's about it! Can't believe it took this long... x.x Anyway, now to improving my town in general and uploading it to the Dream Suite and possibly figuring out more ways to renovate my house. Isn't manual labor fun? :D
