So Zima, assuming you come online again today, what's your technique for finding shinys? Like is it more than just running around in the grass all day?

It is running around in the grass all day...in the Friend Safari. Not only do Pokémon there have at least 2 perfect IVs, they also have a higher chance of being Shiny. That's how I got my Shiny Phantump.

Aw man.... I really need to get X and Y.... I want shiny Pokémon....

I do have the Shiny Charm for Black 2, but I've only found 1 shiny in the wild thanks to it.

Yeah. I'd been working on it since.....mmmmmmm.....I wanna say Gen. IV (with my copy of Diamond), but I did have a lot of Pokémon imported from my copy of Sapphire (and I think I had just about every Pokémon you could catch in Sapphire), so Gen. III?
