I say Lima cause it sounds cuter than Bean :T

I say Lima (which I prounce as "Lee-ma") because it sounds more like a name than Bean.

I mentally pronounce Lima as "lie-muh".

I know me, Caprizant, and Cappy are going to school tomorrow, but what about the rest of you who attend a school?

I'm not because my school isn't weird.

Once again we have gotten there's always one non-dull moment per day in the auto servicing industry. Today's screw up? Underestimating the clearance between the bottom of a suspended Ford Escape and the top of the POS Chevy S10.

Due to the way things are set up in the shop, if we want to put a car on the alignment rack, we have to pass through another bay. The S10 was already on the rack and we were going to do an alignment it on it, until a student in my class stepped forward asking if we could do their Ford Ranger instead.

A Ford Escape, fairly recently donated to the school since the engine has a major oil leak that's uneconomical to repair due to the cost of the labor involved, was sitting in the bay that we needed to move the S10 through to get it out of the shop. We raised the Escape to the maximum limit the lift would allow and pushed the S10 off the rack.

The S10 came off the alignment rack at quite a bit of speed due to the fairly steep ramp to get on the rack's deck and ran right into the front left tire of the Escape, putting a nice dent in the cab of the S10. So our miscalculation meant we had to push the S10 forward and take the wheels off the Escape.

When we finally got the S10 out of the shop, the Ranger now had to take it's chances getting under. The body made it under just fine, though the antennae was dragged across the belly of the Escape.

Just got to see my other uncle earlier and have pizza!

So despite school being canceled yesterday, I still spent a full school day's worth of time (6 hours) at the school doing a lot of work on our robots.
