I have very mixed feelings:

Hmmm... Well, for one thing, I'm just glad they kept Lily Tomlin as the original Frizz. Kind of an interesting way to keep her on (little sis takes over, big sis is now a professor). However, I'm not sure how I feel about the new actress taking over the lead (you're never going to top the original Frizz ), but, again, I'm just glad Tomlin is still in it.

Redone theme song is okay, but you're never going to beat Little Richard's version.

Biggest issue I have is with how it looks, and this is for most animation nowadays. It just looks soooooo....bleah. I don't know. Something about how they animate stuff nowadays just looks terrible compared to shows I watched as a kid.

The big problems I have with the animation is how there's very little expression in the movements when people talk. Their eyes and eyebrows just stay kind of neutral.

The other thing is that the character design is lazy because it uses the same base body for most of the characters, and just changes skin tone and hair. So the characters lose any individuality.
