Operation: Morbos

"What the..." Lief stood, dumbstruck. He wasn't supposed to be surprised - some eidolons were weird - but...a talking egg? With what appeared to be humans as its parents? He had to be imagining things. Maybe it was the fall from the tree...

Devi and Walter came to a stop in front of the two males, and promptly blush brick-red at Lux's statement.

"Well, this is an awkward introduction..." Walter grumbled, rubbing the back of his head.

"Hush. Anyway... I am Deviza Mocardi, and this is my partner Walter Dornez. The 'talking egg' you see is Lux. We're not exactly sure what race or type of being he actually is. You two are?" she asked.

Arcturus didn't feel comfortable in the current situation, but tried his hardest to go along with it. "I-I... I think my name is Arcturus..."

"My name's Lief. I'mma Whytkin," Lief said.

Meanwhile back over the Lava Plains, the fire as eaten through most of the wing, but Andrew has managed to get away from the dragon.

The fire has finally overcome Miku's regeneration abilities and the wing snaps off with the melting of the main wing spar. Andrew ejects as Miku crashes into the ground. Andrew utters a spell that dumps several tons of water on Miku, extinguishing the fire. He then forces Miku back into her human form and takes her back home to their dimension for rest and to give her time to completely regenerate her left arm.....

(I thought I made it "fairer" by giving Miku all the transformation powers, leaving myself with no transformations and her with no other abilities. Though I never said that directly... I'll keep this in mind with selecting her replacement and her abilities.)

(You don't have to take it that far, you know. I can remedy the "leaving the planet" part with surprising ease, of which I'll elaborate upon later. As for leaving the group, you could always be urged to stay by the other members. Transformative abilities should best be limited to organic creatures unless absolutely necessary--say, if you're without your own weapon.)

(I believe having a cracked blade fits that bill. Zanpakutō do regenerate, but do so slowly and the blade's state means I can't release it or use it as a regular blade.

You kind of lost me with the rest of your response, if only because it doesn't relate directly to the issue of powers, which was the subject of my previous post.)
