*gets back to reading Manga, starting with catching up about on 30 chapters of Non Non Biyori*

Having caught up with Non Non Biyori, I've turned my attention to Gate 7. Gate 7 is one of CLAMP's ongoing series and for a series that first came out in 2010, it's had a slower release than I expected. Just 22 chapters so far. Curious as to why, I dug around little and discovered to my delight that CLAMP has been publishing sequel series to their fantastic twin series Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and xxxHolic. Cardcaptor Sakura also just got a sequel this last year. The latter two are still publishing.

I recommend Aoi Hana. One of the most realistic lesbian animes I've watched, and the manga is going to be re-released by Viz Media with a more accurate translation this fall, so I'm definitely going to collect the manga.

It is slow, but I honestly thought it was appropriate given the nature of the anime. There is a lot of subtext between all the characters, so it's important to take it slow anyways. I watched it while drinking lots of hot black tea, and it was such an enjoyable experience.

Perhaps when it releases in the fall you should recommend it again. I've largely fallen out of just straight up yuri manga for more comedy and action for the time being. Of the two yuri manga I've been reading, I dropped Yuru Yuri last night while deciding to keep Non Non Byori which isn't really a love story anyway, but the main characters are close-knit females mostly out of the better story and art style being more comedic and less simplified/not chibi. And because I didn't have to read 100 chapters to catch back up.

The amount of character development in Yumekui Merry is incredible... It is an awesome story so far (I'm almost caught up at Chapter 94). I had heard the anime was terrible, but the manga is definitely not. The story is fresh and original (well to me anyway), there's a couple of erotic jokes, but it by no means dominates the plot at all and fan service (aside from flat-chested Merry's curves) is virtually nonexistent. There's a good number of cat girls though.

I think you'll like it, one of the main themes and plot elements is dreams.

So I'm working on Soul Eater now and I'm almost finished with it, but man these last chapters must have really tested the censors. This must be like To-LOVE-Ru Darkness level stuff, where there's one enemy character basically with barbie doll anatomy, but her whole body is emblazoned with suggestive markings. And the dialogue flat out states she is naked, aside from large coats that function as armor which in the way that everything is drawn don't really count.

So Lux, the chapter you're on in Tegamibachi most likely 58, since 57 is when Niche grows.

Why can't most hentai be drawn this good, and be uncensored too.
