Got the demo installed let's see if I can't get it to run now. First attempt ended kinda badly with about 5 minutes of me coaxing my computer out of a freeze and a reluctance to boot.

I've got it working! Turns changing my display resolution down to 1366x768 gives me great framerate! It also has the drawback of making the game overall more rough (remember my screen's actual resolution is huge, 3840x2160) than the original Dishonored, but I'll make things work. I think an actual gaming laptop is gonna be sometime in the next year to give me decent graphics.


On the subject of the demo itself, it's actually the entire game. It just locks everything after the third mission, which in itself is respectable in it's own right. From what I know, it's already giving you 1/3 or 1/4 of the game.

That reminds me, I've gotten a few coupons lately from crafting badges. The first mission in the Knife of Dunwall is definitely not for the faint of heart, or those with a love of animals. Especially lovers of whales that look like a cross between a whale and a shark.

Why? Because they're being cut up alive over the course of several days (some may take a week or more) and the level is full of the mournful songs they sing. And thousands of gallons of blood and guts.

I think I've just about had it up to here with video games in general... I've got so many that it's driving me crazy, and I just end up staring at most of them wondering what to play...

Earlier this month, I went ahead and bought another $20 steam card and a $20 eShop card just in case I came across anything good. I've ended up spending the last of both of them today (save for $1 on the eShop). Steam went to a couple daily deals, a few trading cards I've been needing to finish some badges, and $15 on SMITE to get 800 gems for the upcoming NASCAR/Kart themed event. eShop went to Shantae: Risky's Revenge (to complete my Shantae collection on my 3DS) and Colors 3D (which I tried out earlier and like very much, so you may see more art from me in the future).

As for my wish lists on both Steam and the eShop, I'm cutting back on both of them. Already did the Steam one and now just have the Zero Escape games (since they've been a must get for me for ages), the Danganronpa games (because I'm such a big fan of the series and want to try them out myself), and Mass Effect (since I have Mass Effect 2). Now I'm going to work on the eShop one.

I know the Summer sale is still a few months away, but I'm going to throw this out here right now: If any of you feel generous like in previous years, please don't get me anything... If I ever have enough for them, I'll finish off my Steam wishlist, and that's it for good I think. 100+ games is too much for me...

again I'll reccommend backloggery, it has really helped me get a better handle of my backlog and helps when I don't know what to play :0
