Having to learn a new interface is even more annoying.

On the plus side, I get to start with a nearly healthy Artillery unit and I got a shot of goldmark, though the tutorial made me use a few thousand of it :I

I think I also have more infantry units than anyone else. Now what to do with them.... I see that Austria is making a move on Rumania, the nearest supply of oil to my Empire. It sucks that I won't get there first, but I should manage with buying and trading for oil at this point in time. At some point I will have to deal with Austria, perhaps split it with Russia. My artillery is already in position for assaulting Greece, however my army of 58,000 won't get there until tomorrow morning. Hmm.... decisions decisions.... I think I'll wait for the day to roll over before attacking.

Also Morocco is taking over Portugal, this move doesn't surprise me. Also they are being quite proactive in marketing their oil, something that again doesn't surprise me.

I'm also at the head of the leaderboard with 160 points! Not like a 6 point difference actually matters :P

Day 4! I'm ranked 7th with 156 points, not that it bothers me. More interesting is that I'm on top of the Military Strength Leader Board, with an estimated 12% compared to the next four runner-ups score of 8%.

I've also captured Larissa and I'm marching on Athens now. My army should be able to take both Athens and Pygros in the next 24 hours, question now is what to do with the island Providences of Canea and Nicosia. My Artillery really won't be of much help unless I ship it over with my army. Hmm...

Railroads are finally available so I'm going to start by building them in areas important to my food supply and in heavily trafficked areas

I'll admit I'm starting to have second doubts about attacking Austria, I'll figure something out from how he reacts to me taking over Serbia. More than likely he'll quickly find out that I have artillery, if it wasn't already apparent from my war with Greece. One article in the paper mentioned that I destroyed a Greek force with "heavy bombardment."

So France is now attacking The German Empire while The German Empire is at war with Belgium.... Also said war with Belgium is being rather costly for The German Empire (56,000 dead so far) and The German Empire has made very little effort to fortify so I expect that France is going to do rather well in this war. Kinda scary, I was expecting that I was going to be the first player to attack another player.

Also tells me that I need to be better prepared in case another player lashes out at me. Right now I've committed most of my troops to my territory expansion.

If I remember correctly, I think they were working on a mobile friendly version of Supremacy. If it's available, I'll see if I can do anything if/when I get a tablet (doubt it would work on the Wii's browser).

Pretty sure that's actually what I'm using now. Instead of launching in a separate Java based window, the game now opens in a new tab and is coded in HTML. The old way remains an option, but it hasn't worked for me yet.

They've done a lot to the game since we played almost a year ago... Though they didn't add cavalry for whatever reason.

So someone is going on and on about how France will be unbeatable if he takes over Germany. My response is basically "Yeah right. I have experience with dismembering fused countries, it ain't hard if you know what you're doing."

As France has described in no uncertain terms, Germany has been rather incompetent in this game and that any good General wouldn't pass up the opportunity to carve himself a piece of a country that can't defend itself. I certainly wouldn't, Go France! I look forward to fighting you.


Oh yeah, I've conquered Serbia. Now just to set the last pieces into place...

Russia has already joined in with two more forces, one of equal strength to mine, the other has a strength of 93. Austria is probably gonna crap his pants when he logs on.

So my initial assault was a little more costly than I was hoping with losses at 11,000 so far. Austria has lost 7,000 so far and has not yet responded to the invasion. No providences have been captured yet. However, I can see further into Austria now and beyond this initial assault, it does not appear there will be much resistance.

I've captured Serajevo, complete with it's harbor fully intact!

The assault is still bit more costly than I was hoping (30 units lost thus far), but there's ultimately not much I can do about that now. I've committed nearly everything I have for this while keeping some troops in reserve in case of a back attack via the Black Sea. In just 24 hours I should be able to recommit them to the fight as there's light resistance in my intended path of travel.

Speaking of a counterattack, Austria is finally responding to my assault by sending me most of what's left and going so far to remove troops from the path of Russia's huge army to redirect them to my somewhat beaten force at Szeged. I don't quite know how bad the counter attack will ultimately be, but I'm expecting about 12 more units dead on my side. I'll probably goldmark a fortress into place as soon as I capture it, which should be in the next hour or two.

Speaking of fortresses, I'm laying down fortresses in every providence I capture and building them up to at least level two. This should give me time to react in the event somebody gets frisky with me as well increase my odds of recovering my forces.

One more thing, Sweden and Great Britain went to war at some point in the past 24 hours and Inverness (Northern Scotland) has already fallen to Sweden.
