Re: Poké Park [v5]
The only knowledge I had to go on was a quick glance at the CoroCoro picture in school today. Its body structure is similar to Diancie's and I didn't even notice the whole "literally-made-of-steel" thing. :VLief Katano wrote:I'm...not certain how you got to that conclusion.
Its name is completely different from Diancie's, is basically a robot, and is known as the "Artificial Pokémon"
That said, I'm willing to bet it was made by humans in Diancie's image.

Considering some of the fan art, that wouldn't surprise me

Re: Poké Park [v5]
Do you think that it could be the Strange Souvenir Pokemon?
That would make way for a Gen 6.5...

or... it could be like the movies since the power of one and the anime in general in that it introduces a next gen mon before said gen's release.

We still don't have a Z yet...or anything elaborating on Zygarde, for that matter.returnofmastercrazyhand wrote:or... it could be like the movies since the power of one and the anime in general in that it introduces a next gen mon before said gen's release.

Exactly. Maybe this new Pokemon will be introduced alongside the rest of the event legends in Z.

Re: Poké Park [v5]
but remember that in BOTH XY & ORAS, the Pokédex goes only up to 721.
if anything, it's a gen VII mon introduced before gen VII

Re: Poké Park [v5]
They could take the form-changes to the logical conclusion and add another Pokémon in Z or whatever the fuck.
That said
It's a bit different since it's a legendary, not something even harder to find who the hell thought that was a good idea, but the principle's still the same.

Munchlax debuted in Destiny Deoxys before Emerald came out.Charles wrote:We still don't have a Z yet...or anything elaborating on Zygarde, for that matter.returnofmastercrazyhand wrote:or... it could be like the movies since the power of one and the anime in general in that it introduces a next gen mon before said gen's release.

Re: Poké Park [v5]
ORAS added new moves and abilities mid-gen that weren't even in XY's data, so I don't see how adding a new Pokemon mid-gen is that big a stretch.
Besides, assuming they're doing a Z or something like that, this is about a whole year too early to be early-birding a Gen VII 'mon, given the general release schedule of the past several years.

the first episode of the anime debuted ho-oh 2 years in advance.Charles wrote:ORAS added new moves and abilities mid-gen that weren't even in XY's data, so I don't see how adding a new Pokemon mid-gen is that big a stretch.

and then there's the aforementioned munchlax.
and it is kind of a strech to add new mon mid gen, as some moves in gen III were added in FRLG, not RS, so that's been done before, but never a new mon.
