Dead Hand would, Garos wouldn't.

Im pretty sure Garos are a living creature. They do suicide bomb after you beat them, though that could be a second death of sorts. Does the game ever state/imply anything on this?

They explicitly state that they die without leaving a corpse.

then zombies seem pretty much out of the question
