Yes. Yes it is. Goodnight. I am a terrible person.
And I complain about being sleep deprived. I wonder why.

I honestly don't get people who dislike M games just for the rating
the last of us had a truly entertaining story
resident evil and silent hill (and eternal darkness) were gorundbreaking and gave people like me who HATE horror movies a reason to play besides horror.
metal gear solid is batshit crazy(in the good sense) a LOT
dark souls is a callbback to nintendo hard, with a good story to boot
the witcher and the elder scrolls have huge open worlds worth explororing
not every M game is like shit like call of duty or grand theft auto.

Re: Random Ramblings: Season 4 - Episode 20 - The Neverending Ride of Title Changes
From a viewpoint of someone who doesn't play M rated games, I wouldn't define it as hate? I mean, I am thankful for ratings, though some of them may not be fair, and M rated games are something I don't touch. I don't like extreme violence, especially don't like explicit scenes or characters, and I don't appreciate the language all that much. M ratings generally entail one if not more of these aspects. Though there may be great stories to be told, I personally think some things could be told in a more friendly manner.
I was not aware that The Last of Us was M rated. Not that it matters to me all that much, cause I wasn't really going to look into it, but I've only ever heard good things about it.

Re: Random Ramblings: Season 4 - Episode 20 - The Neverending Ride of Title Changes
When I was younger, M rated games were something I never considered playing. I think the first M rated game I owned was Area 51 (which I never got to play due to the M rating) for the PS1. Some time after that (probably around the time I first became active on the internet), I became more interested in more mature games (I think discovering LPs was what really opened me up to more mature games). Soon after that, the first M rated game I ever played was (I think) 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, and 999 was fairly recent (check when I did my LP of it), so I haven't been playing M rated games for long.
But yeah, now that I'm older, things like violence, language, and explicit scenes don't bother me that much (though, there's some things that I will admit are too much), so I've opened up to quite a few M rated games (just look at my Steam Library).
