as for what my aura thing did, all it did was show how someone feels and whether intentions are good or bad overall, I was sorta hoping everyone else would chip in and describe their auras as well

After reading this a second time, I conclude that Chaos cut Arcturus out to make it look like Arcturus is Chaos.

Then this confuses me even more so.

I liked the original post, which was not as complex in meaning and very easily understandable.

don't see why its so hard to understand, just accept that what we know isn't what the rp us know, and only think with what they know and see

in other words what rp us know is that arc is chaos and is attacking us :I

It's hard to understand because it's contradicting at first glance and I'm not used to separating my thoughts, likely a byproduct of Autism.

My motivation for Chaos' illusions fooling everyone would be...

Well, I'd anticipated that somebody would drop out, so Chaos could devour them, which would give her their memories and abilities, which, along with her illusory abilities, would allow her to perfectly impersonate them almost perfectly. She would play along until somebody wandered off, volunteer to get them back... And when they're all alone, she'd attempt to kill them. All I needed was for somebody to become disinterested.

However, the circumstances I was presented with were less than ideal.

My best guess is that you were not expecting us to immediately suspect something was up, perhaps an oversight on your part seeing how we were perfectly aware of what happened to jokool (explained in my case by Soul Reapers being able to sense spiritual pressure, aka Aura, and knowing that the disappearance one's aura usually translates that the person died).

I don't think it was that - Arcturus (the character) told us what had happened - presumably including Joseph's absorbtion. Arc even said he saw Joseph disappear.
