This is a thing now.

There's also new Blue-Eyes support (or new since I last was online), including this op card.

Must be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard (in which case you do not use "Polymerization"), and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be destroyed by battle. This card can make up to 2 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked an opponent's monster: You can banish that opponent's monster on the field.

There's also an Effect Monster Variant that lets you nuke a monster from the field no matter what, in exchange for not being able to attack, though you can have three copies of the card fire off in one turn.

There's also a Synchro Monster Variant that sort of flips off Pendulum Summons, and also combos decentlyish with Azure-Eyes or Stardust Spark Dragon.

Alright, I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that this kickass man, Nirvana High Paladin, has been introduced. He's a Level 10 Synchro Monster that can be Synchro Summoned by using a Pendulum Summoned Pendulum Monster as a Tuner. If he destroys a monster by battle - relatively easy with his 3300 ATK - he halves your opponent's Life Points. And if he gets destroyed, he can flip into the Pendulum Zone (unfortunately not destroying anything beforehand, so you have to make sure a Zone's unoccupied somehow), where he can use his Scale of 8 to great effect, make Pendulum Monsters immune to damage and destruction via battle when they're attacking, and have them lower the opponent's ATK by their ATK until the end of the turn.

The bad news is that he's not on DN.

Also all of the card images are gone from DN.

I think it sounds fun, but then again the last deck I used was a Synchro-Pendulum Deck, which would be perfect for it, sooo.

Granted, the whole "power balancing" thing gets in the way. Once the power-increasing ball rolls out, there's not much that can be done to stop it, considering that Yu-Gi-Oh is a card-based game, not a video game.

So new ban list is out. Notable changes include the limiting of several Performapal monsters (It's a large pendulum archetype), and the banning of two Performage monsters. Wavering Eyes,an anti-pendulum quick spell, has also been banned. Thousand Eyes Restrict is now limited. Upstart Goblin is now limited. Allure of Darkness is now semi-limited. Crush Card Virus is now unlimited as is Dark Magician of Chaos

Interesting... Thousand-Eyes is something never thought I'd see being unbanned, same for Dark Magician of Chaos (and it's completely unlimited too Eek! (now I want to try making a Dark Magician deck again)).

Also noticed a few hits on decks Lief uses, so I imagine he's not going to be happy.

The other thing I noticed was this card, and yeah, I can see how that could get banned, given that if both players are under 1000 LPs, the person who played it could prevent themselves from taking any damage (though, I guess MST is still a thing).

I think the reason they unbanned Thousand Eyes and Chaos is because there are now cards out there more powerful then them. Plus Thousand Eyes was a pain to summon.
