Damn, I remember Nintendo was selling refurbished 2DSs for like $60 for this 4th of July weekend.

That would have been tempting, but I'm not sure I like the idea of owning a used 2DS...

Jokool, I bought a refurbished New 3DS, and it works perfectly fine. :) I'm sure the 2DS would work fine if you bought it.

Might reconsider refurbished then.

Also, I'm not a big Zelda fan, but this is so cool looking!

If I didn't win the contest and I decide to just splurge on a New 3DS XL, this is probably what I'd go with.

$227.68, and I've got the Red 3DS, Omega Ruby, and a free Groudon figurine.

I'm definitely getting a black New 3DS XL.

Just thought of a reason why I might go with the new 3ds over the 2ds: If the NX is the successor to the Wii U (like I was originally thinking, and what may be happening after seeing that news story I posted a few days ago), then I imagine that more games will be New 3ds exclusive (like Xenoblade 3d), so I'd be missing out on a lot.

*plans on keeping to my 3DS until it either dies or Pokémon upgrades to the next system level*

I want a New 3DS but I'm waiting to see if they release the regular-size version in the US. The XL probably won't fit in half my pants pockets which is kinda a huge turn-off for me.
