that is false, it just as dark as sky, if not darker.
people just don't read in between the text anymore, and the cutscenes a plenty in sky is how people knew that game was dark, but there aren't as many cutscenes in GTI, and it still is dark.

The others have stated their opinions, too. And they listened, because they gave their reasons why they disagree. You shouldn't expect them to change their opinions to match yours.

You can have a conversation about how you think the game gets too much hate, and that's fine, but when it devolves into shouting at others it's unacceptable.

I'd express disappointment (part of my problem with GtI was also that it was relatively short) but then I remembered you finished games as quickly as Scott Cawthon makes them (that or I beat them as quickly as Valve makes them) so my fears lessened.

The dungeons are brutally difficult though. ;-;
