Competition Results—February 2015

As the first competition of its kind, the results of February's competition should be of interest to everybody. Who will win—the Sinister Sinistrals, who've already organized their team name, color, and mascot? Or will it be the left team, who have yet to decide on any of these things and attempt to bring the subject up occasionally, before their discussion thread becomes deadened? Yes, despite their complete lack of organization, the team makes up for it with their surprising consistency in activity. Most of the team members ended up with a score above 30. Meanwhile, Sinister Sinistrals, despite having Truthseeker on their side with the highest score of 74.525, had half of their team scoring below 30.
Overall, both teams did very well, and the competition was actually quite close. Final scores—Unnamed Left: 34.18333; Sinister Sinistrals: 31.77083.
As stated, the highest score overall was Truthseeker4449, with a score of 74.525; the second highest in SS is Lux with 34.375. Meanwhile, the highest score on the other team was Lief Katano, with 55.6, and then Greece, with 48.25.
Meanwhile, TheSnazzMaster managed to more than double their post count, Caprizant won the most games (4, all in Who's That Pokémon), and posted the most threads (3). Lux received the most likes (70), followed by Greece (53), and then Lief (44).
Unfortunately, due to the disorganization of the lefties, there will be no special background for this month or victory badges until we sort ourselves out and I have proper Internet connection to implement the implementations. :I
But until then, well played, everyone, and work hard for March's competitions! :D

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure that most of the team was leaning towards Greninja, and the poll I made had 50% red and 50% black for the team colors.
We still don't have a team name, but I can't really provide a logical conclusion for that - 7Whatever and Logical Ninjas were all that were put up, and nobody really showed any support.

We'll figure it out eventually. Perhaps we should adopt TS's strategy of forcing everyone to answer within a set time limit. :B
In other news: February was our most active month since August, with 3664 posts to August's 3850. It likely would have been the most active month in the last year if there were more days in it.

I tried that. We ended up with 50% Red and 50% Black.

I started having a feeling that this might be the case after I noticed that you guys consistently had more overall activity. This month outta be interesting, if I can stay off the rails and Minecraft. Just out of curiosity, what's the formula being used to calculate the scores?

For the curious, here's the weighting for individual scores: Posts are worth 7.5%, threads you're in are worth 12.5%, likes received are worth 17.5%, threads posted are worth 30%, and games won are worth 32.5%. I may be switching the last three around a bit. Less threads were posted than games were won, and I think posting threads is worth more than winning a game in one section. And likes need a budge up.
