why not write a short hand version of the list with each category being a letter that way cutting down how much you type

shhh not my fault you're behind the times :I

Maybe load the categories on your Wii, then just do the PM on your DS. It's not really cutting down much, but it'll probably save more time than typing everything out on your Wii would.
