Gone Fishin'

I'll be out most of tomorrow helping out with a robotics competition in Alexandria, VA.

It's pretty apparent, but my activity is rather sporadic because of me being a full time college student (whose commute is about an hour to college), as well as holding a 15 hour a week job.

Is that an hour through traffic or mostly due to milage? Mine is about hour due to traffic, though it can done in 30-40 minutes with no traffic.

An hour accounting for possible traffic.

leaving for a week and a half starting tomorrow.

Okay, I've been debating this for a few days now, but I've decided that I'm taking a week or so off from the internet...

This is mainly because I feel like I've been spending more time than I should online, which is making things a bit one sided in my life right now. I'm out of balance and need to get things back in balance, like my room (spring cleaning), my taxes (which I was planning on doing this weekend, but decided to play SMITE instead), and also, since it's spring break around here, a lot of my coworkers are going on vacation, so I'm getting more hours this week. Also would like to focus on my family more and spend more time with them because I feel like I've been prioritizing my computer over my family, and that's never good (I mean, you guys are great, and I love you all like family, but I can't neglect my IRL family ).

I also feel like I need to clear my head again... Being online too much is...well, scrambling my thoughts around more than usual...and with how scrambled my thoughts are normally... Ooooooooooh boy...

So yeah, I need a break before I do something stupid or go crazy or something...and also to help me catch up on stuff.

Have a good break~! We'll keep your Pit Stop room clean and I promise not to build a robot to replace you during your absence.

I honestly feel a bit lost without seeing you guys daily... But I still feel like I'm staying online too much, so I'll probably try to stay offline during the day (I'm usually at work anyway).

I'm not sure how obvious this has been, but I haven't been feeling very good, emotionally, as of late. Mostly I'm posting in this thread to explain why my play-through of Shin Megami Tensei will probably not be updated this week. I've got a bunch of material ready to go, for sure, but I have a bunch of school work to do and my computer has been shitting on me for no reason and it's SERIOUSLY PISSING ME OFF OH MY FUCKING GOD. I have no audio! I was on the line with a Microsoft tech for like and hour and a half yesterday and I still didn't find an immediate solution! UGHHHHHHHH

Anyway, I might go into more detail later, maybe actually get this fuckin' computer to do its job again, but as you can see, I'm in a really sour mood because of my computer and I have been for about a week now, only confounded by the typical self-esteem and self-confidence issues I always grapple with. Again, it's nothing serious, just my computer being shitty and my mood being shitty as a result. Now, I'm off to school and I will see you all later!
